Elspeth, your host will be joined by Rachel one of GGSC’s online cycle coaches. Rachel will be sharing her vast knowledge on off road cycling. With off road cycling there can be more practical considerations, so Rachel gives some tips on route planning, keeping fuelled and hydrated on the bike and also how to keep safe is less populated areas.


The equipment is different in the disciplines of off road cycling so Rachel shares with us the reasons and purpose for components she as tyres, suspension, positioning, gearing that can be found on off road bikes.


Being fitter and stronger is going to help with riding off road and Rachel will discuss the requirements and also the types of events that can be accessible to cyclists at all levels.
