These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"), along with the information set out in your booking confirmation email (the "Booking Confirmation") set out the terms on which Girls Get Strong Cycling (“GGSC” or “us”) agrees to make available the services of a cycling camp in Mallorca (the “Camp”) to you.

The Camp can only be attended by participants who have first read these Terms and accepted them unconditionally. You will be deemed to have accepted these Terms by paying your Deposit (as defined below) or full payment, whichever is sooner.

Participants should save and/or print a copy of these Terms for future reference

1. Your Registration and Payment for the Camp

To secure your Booking you (the participant) will have to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of EUR 450 (“Deposit”) or payment in full if the start date of the Camp is within 12 weeks of your booking date.  The remaining balance for the Camp is payable 12 weeks prior to the start date of the Camp. If we do not receive the full payment within this time, GGSC reserves the right to treat your Booking as canceled. 

You will not be entitled to participate in the Camp until the full payment has been received by GGSC.

Places for the Camp are booked on a first come, first served basis and we shall not reserve places without the payment of a Deposit.

 

     2. Refunds

Your Deposit and any other payments shall be non-refundable. This includes any payments you make for services by third parties. 

 

     3. Insurance 

We recommend you take out insurance as soon as you make your Booking

You must purchase specialist travel insurance prior to the start date of the Camp, which includes specific cover for: 

• Covid-19 related issues and incidents which may affect your attendance at the Camp.

• Any other incidents that may affect your attendance at the Camp.

• The activities you will be taking part in during the Camp.

Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory and it is a condition of accepting your Booking that you agree you will have obtained adequate and valid travel insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs, ensuring it covers all the activities you plan to undertake and protects you against cancellation, medical and repatriation expenses and personal liability claims.

 

     4. What is not included in your booking

Your Booking does not include

• Flights 

• Insurance

• Any visas required

• Covid tests

• Meals, personal effects, drinks or any other items not included on your itinerary

      5. Changes to the Itinerary

GGSC reserves the right to make any changes to the itinerary during the Camp due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of our control, such as weather conditions.  

 

        6. Your Code of Conduct at the Cycling Camp

• You need to be over 18 on the start date of the Camp to participate

• You agree to follow any instructions issued by staff at the Camp

• You are responsible for arriving at the Camp prior to the start date 

• You are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and equipment to participate in the Camp 

• You are responsible for ensuring that your fitness level is adequate to participate in the Camp

• You are responsible for declaring any health conditions to GGSC prior to the start date of the Camp 

• You are prohibited from the following for the full duration of the Camp:

  • excessive use of alcohol 

  • possession or use of illegal drugs 

  • any behavior that could harm yourself or other participants or staff 

  • excessive noise or other antisocial behavior 

  • dropping litter in the finca or in surrounding areas; and 

  • any behavior deemed aggressive. 

• You are fully responsible for your own belongings and rented equipment for the duration of the Camp. 

Should you fail to comply with the above conditions, GGSC reserves the right to cease your participation in the Camp with immediate effect, without refund.

 

      7. The Rides

• GGSC reserves the right to make changes to the rides you may have seen advertised during the Camp. 

• You will be required to complete the rides within a certain time frame set by GGSC.

• If GGSC believes that you do not have the adequate level of fitness to complete the rides, we reserve the right to ask you to not take part. 

 

      8. If You Cancel Your Booking

If you want to cancel your booking, please contact us at info@girlsgetstrongcycling.com. 

Subject to clause 10, your participation in the Camp cannot be postponed and/or rescheduled for other dates or transfered to another Participant. If you are unable to participate in the Camp for any reason the following shall apply: 

• If you cancel more than 12 weeks before the start date of the Camp, we will retain in full your Deposit and it will not be refunded. 

• If you cancel less than 12 weeks before the start date of the Camp, we will retain all monies paid and no monies will be refunded.

We shall not be responsible for any additional costs you have incurred such as flights, transport, equipment hire or other third party services. 

 

       9. If We Cancel your Booking

• GGSC reserves the right to cancel your Booking. We will contact you as soon as possible by the contact details you provided to us. 

• In the event that we cancel the Camp we can offer you a full refund of your Deposit and other amounts paid to us. However, we shall not be responsible for any additional costs you have incurred such as flights, transport, equipment hire or other third party services.

 

      10. Covid 

Should the country you are traveling from or the Spanish government impose a quarantine requirement for entry to Mallorca, between the time of your Booking and the start date of the Camp, we can transfer your place to another date. 

You accept that it is your responsibility to check on any requirements that may limit your travel to Spain at the time of booking. 

If you test positive for Covid and have to quarantine for a period of time, or are notified or otherwise become aware that you have, or suspect you may have, come into close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid (or where they otherwise suspect they may have Covid) and have to self-isolate during your departure date for the Camp, cancellation charges will apply in accordance to clause 8, so please ensure you are covered with the appropriate insurance.

     11. Photography Release

You understand that you may be photographed or videotaped at the Camp. You hereby consent to the use of these photographs and/or videos without compensation, on the GGSC website or in any editorial, promotional or advertising material produced and/or published by GGSC.  

 

      12.  Waiver and Release 

You fully understand that your participation in the Camp does involve a level of risk that may result in serious bodily injury and/or death to yourself or others.

You agree that you hereby waive any claims or rights that you might otherwise have against GGSC, its employees, independent contractors or agents for injury/harm to you that may result from participation in the Camp or any event or activity organised by GGSC . You acknowledge that you have carefully read this waiver and release and fully understand that it is a release of liability. You are waiving any right you have to bring legal action to assert a claim against GGSC.
